"It's right outta a comic book. +10 to armor while wearing a bikini." The comment was given with a smirk and a bob of her head. The suggestion that he distract earned a grin.

"You are rather distracting. There's a lotta new curves to get distracted by. Have you gotten used to all your new goods yet? You run with those suckers?" 'Those suckers' being her ample breasts. Devi didn't know how the armor was set up for support, but it didn't look like it moved or breathed really well.

"Cause if you can't run, I'm pretty sure the bounce of a horse is gonna be real weird."

Devi huffed a laugh as she swung her other leg over the fence and hopped down, half leaning on the fence once she had.

"Hang upside down," she suggested with a shit-eating grin and a shrug. "You get used to it. But if nothing hurts..." A few seemingly idle steps took her backwards. "And you're still down for it. Feel like giving it a shot?"

"'It's just riding a horse'," she echoed with a laugh and an exaggerated roll of her eyes. "I've never stood to animals this big without the intent to have them for supper," she admitted as they rounded the front of the stables, the huffing and shuffling of the horses slowing her step down.

She shook her head. "I haven't gotten close. This is the first time I've seen real horses and I was never a 'Have a Pet' kinda kid."

The clap on her hand was taken with a chuckle but the wary look on her face and the largeness of her eyes didn't start to ease until she'd had a few minutes to introduce herself and make sure that she wasn't going to get trampled.

She knew she was a sucker; if something like that happened, she'd probably let herself get trampled, rather then hurting the creatures.

Thor's instruction made sense though - blanket underneath so there wasn't any chafing and it was more comfortable for the horse, adjusting the saddle strap that went around their undersides just right and noting they'd have to do it again once the beasts decided to stop sticking their stomachs out.

"Not the riding part?" She smirked. "I've seen enough movies; I'm sure I can manage." Gathering the reigns of one of the horses, Devi gently urged the creature out of its stall.

"Where are we going to ride them, anyway? The corral or the actual landscape?"

Animals were here before humans were and Devi had always tried her best to respect them as well as she could. It helped that horses could be just as dangerous as they could be fun, or so modern media would have her believe.

It set her up well.

"That sounds like it has significantly less head injuries, so I won't argue," she said, following behind him. Once they got there, she stood dumbly, one hand on the saddle horn.

"I.. I uh, think I'll watch you mount up first."

Devi frowned at him and the ease that he mounted up, being forced to sharply note the loss of that particular limb and power. "That's cheating," she said with a pout.

Cheating or not, she stuck a foot in the stirrup and bounced a little before half jumping, pulling herself onto the horse. Or trying. With a little sound, Devi fell back to her feet. Undeterred, she tried again and got on, working to swing her leg over it's back so she could straighten with a gleeful little sound.

"The bounce. The bounce definitely helped. Don't tell me you can't do that, I refuse to believe," she said with a grin.
